Ingredients
- 3/4 cup flour white whole wheat
- 1/2 cup oatmeal quick cooking
- 1/4 cup flaxseed ground
- 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 stick butter melted
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips or frozen blueberries
Servings: waffles
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients together.
- Plug in the waffle iron and wait until the light turns green.
- Rub some cold butter on the top and bottom of the waffle iron.
- Add 1/2 cup waffle batter and close the lid.
- When the light turns green, remove the waffle.
- Rub more butter on waffle iron as needed and cook the next waffle.
- Add more milk as needed throughout the cooking process.
