Ingredients: 4 tbsp butter; 1 1/8 cup milk; 3/4 cup cornmeal; 1 1/2 tsp salt; 3/4 cup cold maple syrup; 2 cups bread flour; 1 3/4 cup wheat flour; 1 1/2 tbsp yeast

Maple Cornmeal Bread

Ingredients

4tbsp butter
1 1/8cup milk
3/4cup cornmeal
1 1/2tsp salt
3/4cup cold maple syrup
2cups bread flour
1 3/4 cup wheat flour
1 1/2tbsp yeast

Instructions

measure first 5 ingredients
melt butter in sauce pan
when butter is melted pour milk in and keep stirring
when milk is warm sprinkle in salt and cornmeal and keep stirring to avoid lumps
once cornmeal is mixed in remove from heat and pour in the cold maple syrup and stir
once you mixed the maple syrup into the pan pour the mixture into the bread machine
let it cool so it is warm
pour both flours so it will cover the all the liquid
sprinkle yeast on top of the flour
set bread maker to 1 lb sweet light loaf and hit start
