Instructions
  1. Wash and peel the potatoes.
  2. Shred the potatoes using a food processor.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of butter to a frying pan and turn on heat to medium.
  4. Once the butter is melted, add the potatoes and sprinkle some salt on top.
  5. When the potatoes have browned on the bottom (about 5 – 7 minutes), add the remaining 2 tablespoons on top and flip the potatoes.
  6. Wait for the potatoes to brown on the bottom (another 5 – 7 minutes) and then remove them from the pan.
Recipe Notes

I usually use russet potatoes because that is what we usually have in the pantry.  However, this recipe would work with almost any type of potato.
